it's already time for the first patch! Thank you for all the bug reports and the feedback. I focussed on some key issues and wrapped up some things I did not get into the build in time for release. I'll keep my eyes out for your feedback, thanks everyone!
unlocking a boom level has a much better visualization showing you more clearly where the town grows.
unlocking Boomtown and the "roads" tool now comes with a yay-card explaining the mechanics.
a new Overview tab plots every goal's rate against its target
each town type gets its own riverbank style
denser woods around wood suppliers
fullscreen is now the default
trucks only enter a junction if there's room on the other side, at signs, lights and unsigned junctions alike. Left turners wait at their line instead of in oncoming traffic.
in a test, time trucks spent stuck inside a junction fell from ~190 to under 10 "truck-seconds", and a busy lot got ~20% more deliveries out.
goal rates no longer jump with every truckload. A steady route should stay within ±0.1 of its real rate. It used to swing between 2.1 and 3.9 against a goal of 3.
improved freeze when boom level unlocks. Took ~4 s, now 0.1 s.
large towns generate faster. Was 90s on my machine, now 35s.
fixed a small memory leak. Each new game or load leaked added 10 MB.
Improved boat rendering performance (I know, niche topic)
building panel no longer flickers while editing a route's path
cards stay clear of the tool buttons and fit on small screens
