V1.3 is out, focused on making "loot it, upgrade it, push deeper" feel great from the very first minutes.
Your existing save data carries over as is.
Progress while the game is closed (offline progress)
- While the game is closed, your party keeps fighting in the last dungeon you fought in for up to 8 hours. You receive the Gold, EXP, gear, scrolls and potions the next time you start.
- It runs at half the speed of playing. Boss fights (unlocking the next dungeon) only happen while the game is running.
- Gear your loot filter skips, and gear beyond 100 pieces, is sold for Gold.
See your loot drop
- Dropped gear now pops out of the defeated enemy with a glow in its ★ color. ★4 and above raise a pillar of light.
- Gear that beats your current gear is marked "UP!".
- Added sound effects for ★4/★5 drops, boss appearances and defeats, party wipes and more (some were silent before).
- Defeating a boss briefly freezes and flashes the screen, and enemies light up when hit.
Auto Equip
- "Auto Equip" in Inventory puts the strongest gear you own on all 4 characters (weapons stay physical or magic, like the current one).
- Gear that beats someone's current gear gets a green triangle in the list; hover over it to see who it is for.
- When upgrades are waiting, the Inventory button on the main screen shows how many.
For new players
- A new game now starts right in the Training Forest battle, with a short guide.
- New games start with "Restart after a party wipe", "Move on after beating the boss" and "Stay until the recommended level" turned on (existing saves keep their settings).
Other changes
- The battle speed (x1, x2, x4) is remembered for the next battle.
- Fixed EXP numbers overlapping when two appeared at once.
- Improved performance with large inventories.
- The version shown at the bottom right of the main screen is now V1.3.
