Hey Goats! Escalation, Chrono's first expansion, is live today alongside Beta Season 6. It adds 180 new cards in their own pack, 30 for each Syndicate, and nearly doubles the number of cards in Chrono. Leading the set are two new keywords: Amplify and Pillage.

Amplify (Sungrace)

When you play an Agent with Amplify, you can pay its Amplify cost with Reserve Energy to trigger an extra effect. Lance Operator Erases an enemy when played, and with Amplify 2 it also deals 2 to all enemies. Cargo Overseer triggers allied Amplify effects when it enters.

Pillage (Splintergleam)

If you've dealt damage to the enemy Core this round, a Pillage card triggers its effect when you play it. Siege Beast's Pillage deals another 4 to the enemy Core, and Lava Hoarder's creates a Bathe in Flames in hand that costs 0 this round.

Beta Season 6 and the Syndicate Tracks

Beta Season 6 starts today. Each of the six Syndicates also gets its own Syndicate Track: a short, free track that rewards your loyalty with a card back and text emotes.

Getting Escalation cards

• Escalation Packs are in the Shop. On the Packs screen, choose which set to open from the new set carousel.

• Draft and Trials rewards now include Escalation Packs.

• The Welcome Deal, Double Daily Pack, Starter and Season Collector bundles now include Escalation Packs.

• Balance changes, including Ziv, the Adaptable, Divergence Assassin, Rapid Iteration and a rework of What Could Be among several others.

• New since our last post: every Syndicate has its own Immortalize cinematic.
