Thanks to player reports, this small update strengthens diplomacy policies and makes the impact of your attacks visible around the world. Thanks for your reports!
Bug Fixes
- Diplomacy policies weren't fully taking effect in the country; for example, Cult of the Algorithm didn't shift public support and Automated Militarization and the other policies didn't have their expected effect. The policy you choose now takes full effect in the target country.
- In the Development panel, every finished production rebuilt all the cards. This made the auto-production tooltip flicker, close or jump to another card. Cards now update in place and the tooltip stays put.
New: Attacks Make the News
Some attacks had news stories written for them that were never published. Now, when these attacks finish, a headline about the target country appears in the world news:
- Market Glitch: market crash stories.
- Grid Override and Cascade Meltdown: infrastructure failure stories.
- Zero-Day Exploit and Quantum Backdoor: data leak stories.
- False Flag: stories about the blame landing on someone else.
