Thank you for a great launch. Your ravens came in all night, and most of this update comes from them.
Controller and Steam Deck
- The HUD and the menus show button icons for Xbox, PlayStation and Steam Deck controllers.
- LT and RT are buttons like the others. Give them any action in Menu > Controls > Controller.
- A text field opens the Steam keyboard on the screen.
- A attacks an enemy near you before it picks up an item.
Gear and potions
- Lock your gear: Alt + right-click an item. Your pet never eats it, you cannot sell it by mistake, and the forge does not reforge it.
- Potions restore a part of your maximum Life or Mana, and 40% comes at once.
- Item texts show resistances in their colours.
- Two weapons: flat damage from rings and amulets counts in full.
Quests and maps
- Waypoints show a gold ! on the way to a quest and a green ? where a quest waits to be handed in.
- Quest tracker > This area: only the quests of the place you are in.
- Roads between open lands line up.
Fixes
- If your graphics card stops answering, the next start uses the safe renderer (OpenGL). You can go back to Vulkan in Settings.
- Steam Deck and other AMD handhelds start on the Low preset.
- Wheeling Hammer no longer turns the dungeon lights on and off.
- Tips show only once, and the volume settings stay after a restart.
- The Ash Bear no longer floats when it follows you.
- Oathsworn: the Mending Hymn heals about twice as much.
