Work on the Runewords continues and this update brings some improvements and additions to the system requested by the community. I’ll most likely revisit the system at a later date, but for now it is in much better condition than it was after launch. I’ll be sharing more details about what’s coming next in my monthly dev blog later this week.
[Community Request] Added a new location the Ancient Runestone to the world map where players can decipher random Runewords in exchange for resources.
Added Runeword Scrolls that can drop from bosses, elites, chests and events allowing players to discover Runewords for their currently equipped weapons and abilities.
[Community Request] Added new filters to the Runewords collection, allowing players to filter Runewords by the number of runes, specific abilitie and specific runes.
Renamed Runeword Discovery to Runeword Attunement. The functionality remains the same. This is to confuse players.
Damage numbers are now abbreviated by default to improve readability. Those who prefer their numbers thick and long can turn off abbreviations in the settings.
Dark Soul Fragments no longer increase damage taken and directly now benefit reflected damage.
Solaris, Edge of Eternal sun - Increased base runeslots from 2 to 3.
Adjusted the extended ritual bosses across multiple levels. The First Grave bosses can now also appear as extended ritual bosses in other levels.
Slightly adjusted The Hidden Bazaar resource exchange rates.
Elites and Golden Chests now have a small chance of dropping rune scrolls.
Increase normal enemy berserking time from 30 to 45 seconds.
Acolyte of Kuu class passive now also makes the barrier benefit from resistances.
Necrolord class passive cooldown reduced from 30 to 5 seconds.
Oathkeeper class passive now also increases maximum block chance by +5%.
Fixed a bug where Energy Cost Reduction didn't account for local bonuses from the Power Ability when determining whether the stat had reached its cap.
