The question we hear most from players is "what does this term mean?" Special thanks to Zurku, whose questions about Infiltration, Threat Fatigue and Puppet States inspired this update!
New: In-Game Glossary
- A new Glossary explains every term and mechanic in the game in one place.
- Each term has three parts: what it is, how it affects the game and a tip.
- "How to play" pages: the goal of the game, capture paths, victory and endings, detection and investigation, alliances and the coalition.
- Terms are grouped into categories: global gauges, country status, resources and world. Puppet State, Blackmail, Anarchy, Collapse, Migration, Coalition, Flashpoint, Factions, Dilemmas, Origin and more.
- Find terms quickly with the search box. It also works correctly with Turkish characters and with Chinese, Japanese and Korean text.
- Each entry links to related terms, so you can jump from one to another with a single click.
- Open the Glossary with F1, with the button next to the speed controls or with the Glossary button in Settings; it is also available from the main menu. During a game, time stops while it is open and returns to your previous speed when you close it. Press ESC to close it.
- All texts are available in 12 languages. The F1 shortcut was also added to the controls list.
Bug Fixes
- The victory panel sometimes didn't appear, leaving the game paused and seemingly stuck. The victory screen and its effects now show correctly.
- A country whose unrest dropped to zero could stay red on the map. The color now clears correctly.
- During faction events, number keys could pick an option by accident while the Glossary was open or while you were typing. Fixed.
Improvements
- The processing power tooltip now clearly states, in all 12 languages, that all idle power goes to Data processing.
