Titheborn Playtest · public · first seen
The Calendar
* Calendar added, tracking seasons as new Titheborn arrive, as well as when the travelling merchant is due to arrive.
The Travelling Merchant
* He’s no longer random. Once Obol’s road opens his wagon, he comes on the last moon of every season.
* He always has four slots:
- A rare or unique item from deeper than you’ve been
an ingot or a cut gem
- Something to wear
- Something for your House (details below)
* The notice board names some of his wares a moon ahead.
* He takes Amber, and for the House’s bigger upgrades, other Orb colours too.
* The Wardrobe
* Dyes for your top and trousers, chosen separately.
* Vanity hats, worn over any helmet.
* Headstone styles for your graves, which other players find below.
* Name inks.
* You change these at the Wardrobe in your House (below)
The House
* The merchant sells the deed to a plot east of town. The way there opens, and the House goes up.
* Eventually expandable to large sizes.
* A Scrying Table lets you visit any open keeper in town from home, one after another. Go Home will allow you to zip back to the Tithing house.
* Decorations are sold by the traveling merchant, and can modify the aesthetics of of your house. Additional decorations are unlockable by killing the dungeon bosses/working through other in-game events.
Gameplay changes
* A cut of meat that burns at camp becomes a charred cut; edible but less filling, instead of vanishing.
* Sated and Feasted effects buffed.
* Nyxara and Undrel reward breaking away from a fight at most 3 times per floor.
* Large followers now come up and down the stairs with you properly.
Updates
* When the game is out of date it now says how to update through Steam: quit and relaunch, restarting Steam if the update doesn’t start.
