What's new
- Bait chest with a guarantee. The celestial bait still has a 0.5% chance in each chest, but now there's a safety net: if it doesn't show up sooner, the 200th chest on that map brings the 10. Each map keeps its own count, it starts over every time the celestial comes out, and the Dockside Shop shows how many chests are left.
- Hook at the bobber. A fish is now hooked only with a click near the bobber. Clicking anywhere else does nothing, so in wallpaper mode you can use your desktop in peace. And clicking the bobber with no fish scares the next one, which takes a little longer to bite.
- Rain on the water. In rain, storms and hurricanes, the drops splash and leave rings on the water.
- The Friendly Seagull speaks up. Every now and then it calls out as it crosses the boat.
A fairer ranking
I added new protections against cheating in the championship. If you play normally, you won't notice a thing. If you cheat, you lose your leaderboard spot and the stork's hat.
