Scope 3 is no longer restricted to 100% Windows Display Scaling!
One of the most anticipated improvements to Scope 3 has finally arrived.
Previously, operators were required to configure their Windows Display Scaling to 100% for Scope 3 to function correctly. This limitation created compatibility issues for users running higher-resolution monitors and displays using increased DPI settings.
With Update 1.0.8 Part 2, this restriction has been removed.
What's Changed:
Removed the 100% Windows Display Scaling requirement.
Improved compatibility with Windows DPI scaling.
Corrected interface scaling and positioning issues.
Improved support for different display resolutions.
Operators can now use their preferred Windows Display Scaling settings without modifying their system configuration to accommodate Scope 3.

Rail Companion's Auto Lean system has been expanded with additional keyboard control methods designed to improve tactical movement, simplify leaning inputs, and provide operators with more control over their character's positioning.
Q/E Toggle introduces persistent leaning using the traditional Q and E keys.
How It Works:
Press Q: Activates and maintains a left lean.
Press Q Again: Returns to center.
Press E: Activates and maintains a right lean.
Press E Again: Returns to center.
Switch Directions: Pressing the opposite lean key switches the active leaning direction.
Operators no longer need to continuously hold their leaning keys to maintain a selected posture.
This allows operators to establish a leaning position, maintain that position while adjusting their aim, and disengage the lean when desired.
Sticky A/D introduces persistent leaning through the operator's movement keys.
Unlike conventional Auto Lean, the leaning position remains active even after the movement key is released.
How It Works:
Press A: Activates and maintains a left lean (Q).
Press D: Activates and maintains a right lean (E).
Release A or D: The selected leaning position remains active.
Press A Again: Maintains the existing left lean.
Press D Again: Maintains the existing right lean.
Change Directions: Pressing the opposite movement key switches the active leaning direction.
This allows operators to establish and maintain a leaning position through movement without repeatedly activating separate leaning controls.
Normal character movement remains functional.
The original keyboard-based Auto Lean functionality remains available.
How It Works:
Hold A: Activates left lean (Q).
Release A: Releases left lean.
Hold D: Activates right lean (E).
Release D: Releases right lean.
This mode provides immediate leaning responses directly connected to lateral movement.
Together, these keyboard control options give operators greater flexibility when selecting how leaning should behave during tactical movement and engagements.

Rail Companion introduces an entirely new method of controlling tactical leaning through horizontal mouse movement.
Mouse Auto Lean allows operators to initiate leaning behavior through the same mouse movements used to control their weapon and field of view.
Rather than relying exclusively on dedicated keyboard inputs, operators can configure their character's leaning behavior to respond to horizontal aiming movements.
This introduces a different approach to coordinating weapon positioning and character movement.
The system observes horizontal mouse movement and translates that movement into the game's configured leaning inputs.
Basic Operation:
Move Mouse Left: Initiates a left lean (Q).
Move Mouse Right: Initiates a right lean (E).
Return to Center: Opposite horizontal movement can return the operator to a neutral leaning position.
Controlled Transitions: The system processes the neutral position before transitioning between opposing leaning directions.
The result is a leaning system that responds to the direction of the operator's mouse movement.
Mouse Auto Lean includes adjustable sensitivity.
This controls how much horizontal mouse movement is required to activate leaning behavior.
Operators can configure the system for more responsive activation or larger movement requirements depending on their aiming sensitivity and preferred control style.
The Invert X option reverses the relationship between mouse movement and leaning direction.
Normal:
Mouse Left โ Lean Left
Mouse Right โ Lean Right
Inverted:
Mouse Left โ Lean Right
Mouse Right โ Lean Left
This allows operators to choose whether their leaning direction follows or opposes their horizontal mouse movement.
This option introduces additional behavior while firing.
When enabled, the system reverses the horizontal leaning relationship while the left mouse button is held.
Once the left mouse button is released, the system returns to its configured directional behavior.
This provides operators with another way to customize how leaning responds during weapon engagements.
Mouse Auto Lean now includes an ADS Only option.
When enabled, Mouse Auto Lean operates only while the operator is aiming down sights.
ADS Active: Mouse Auto Lean is enabled.
ADS Inactive: Mouse Auto Lean does not activate from normal horizontal mouse movement.
This allows operators to separate their general movement behavior from their aiming and engagement behavior.
Mouse Auto Lean introduces additional possibilities for tactical simulation environments where positioning, weapon handling, and controlled exposure are important.
Potential applications include:
Progressive corner clearing.
Slicing the pie around doorways.
Maintaining weapon alignment while adjusting leaning positions.
Close-quarters room clearing.
Coordinating leaning movements with weapon direction.
Reducing dependency on additional keyboard inputs during engagements.
Mouse Auto Lean does not replace traditional keyboard-based leaning. It introduces another configurable input method.
๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ
One of the most important aspects of the expanded Auto Lean system is the ability to customize how your inputs behave.
Not every operator approaches close-quarters combat the same way, and your controls should not be restricted to a single predefined method.
With the introduction of additional keyboard leaning modes and Mouse Auto Lean, operators have more flexibility to experiment with different configurations and develop input behaviors that complement their personal CQB techniques.
Q/E Toggle โ Deliberate Positioning
Use traditional leaning keys to establish and maintain a selected posture.
This approach may appeal to operators who prefer precise control when holding corners, observing angles, or maintaining a specific position.
Sticky A/D โ Movement-Based Positioning
Connect leaning behavior with lateral movement while maintaining the selected posture after movement stops.
This approach may appeal to operators who prefer their leaning direction to follow their positioning around obstacles.
Standard A/D โ Responsive Movement
Maintain direct leaning behavior connected to movement-key activation and release.
This approach may appeal to operators who prefer leaning to respond immediately to their lateral movement.
Mouse Auto Lean โ Aim-Based Positioning
Use horizontal mouse movement to influence leaning behavior.
Operators can customize sensitivity, inversion, shooting behavior, and ADS restrictions to establish a configuration that complements their preferred aiming technique.
By experimenting with these controls and their available configurations, operators can develop input setups suited to different tactical approaches.
For example, an operator may prefer persistent keyboard leaning for deliberate positioning while using mouse-controlled leaning behavior for aiming-focused movement where the selected configuration permits.
Another operator may prefer movement-based leaning, using Sticky A/D to maintain posture while adjusting Mouse Auto Lean settings to complement their aiming style.
Other operators may favor traditional keyboard control with Mouse Auto Lean restricted to ADS.
The objective is not to tell operators which technique is correct. It is to provide the flexibility to configure their inputs around how they prefer to operate.
Whether your CQB style emphasizes deliberate angle clearing, controlled exposure, fluid lateral movement, or more aggressive repositioning, the expanded input options provide additional ways to tailor Scope 3 to your preferences.
Your Movement. Your Technique. Your CQB Style.
Scope 3 is designed to adapt to the operator โ not force the operator to adapt to the software.

Windows task-switching functionality has received significant improvements.
Alt+Tab now brings all associated Scope 3 application menus forward together.
Previously, switching between gameplay and Scope 3 could leave companion application windows behind other applications.
The updated system improves window synchronization between:
Scope 3
Rail Companion
Auto PTT
Operators can now access their complete interface without manually restoring individual windows.
A new shortcut has been introduced for operators using the Steam Overlay.
Shift + Tab + Tab โ Brings Scope 3 to the foreground.
This allows operators to quickly access Scope 3 while gaming without relying exclusively on traditional Windows task switching.
As Scope 3 enters the final stages of its development, we are pleased to introduce full multilingual interface support for the primary Scope 3 application.
Scope 3 is developed for a global community of tactical simulation enthusiasts, and making the application accessible to operators worldwide is an important part of its continued development.
The application now automatically detects your Windows display language and applies the corresponding localization when supported.
Key Features:
Full interface localization for supported languages.
Automatic Windows display language detection.
Automatic language selection when Scope 3 launches.
English fallback for unsupported languages.
No manual language configuration required.
Please Note: Language support currently applies exclusively to the primary Scope 3 application. Rail Companion and Auto PTT will remain in English during this stage of development.
Although full language support has now been introduced, localization is an ongoing process that will continue improving through community feedback.
Every language has its own terminology, expressions, and standards. We want Scope 3 to respect those differences.
Some translations may require adjustments to better reflect how native speakers understand technical settings, tactical terminology, or interface instructions.
If you notice anything in the Scope 3 interface that does not meet your language standards, we encourage you to join our Discord community and let us know what should be corrected.
This includes:
Incorrect or unnatural translations.
Technical terminology that does not accurately represent its function.
UI descriptions that could be clearer in your native language.
Text formatting or interface elements that need adjustments.
Suggestions for improving language accuracy and consistency.
Your feedback matters.
Localization improvements will be introduced gradually through future updates as we receive feedback from operators around the world.
Our objective is not simply to translate words, but to make Scope 3 feel natural and understandable to users regardless of their native language.
Join our Discord, share your suggestions, and help shape the language experience for your region.
As Scope 3 approaches the end of its primary development cycle, community-driven localization will remain an ongoing effort.
Developed for operators worldwide. Improved by operators worldwide.
