Myriad Gambit · public · first seen
This update adds minor boss encounters and rewards to Myriad Gambit's cultivation journey, alongside a revised difficulty curve for the Standard schedule. Learn cards and tribe engines with more room to experiment, or choose the Chosen One schedule to retain the original challenge.
On turns 5 and 10 of the Standard schedule, every surviving contender chooses one of three minor bosses from different tribes. Preview their formations and reward themes on turns 4 and 9 to prepare.
Meet 32 minor bosses with individual portraits, artwork, battle scenes, and signature mechanics. Win to choose one reward: A for a playstyle enhancement, B for a tribe legacy, or C for an immediate boost. A tribe legacy can also be converted into a compatible new tribe's half-strength version. Select reward targets directly on your formation or hand, and keep unfinished claims available for later.
Standard Easy is now a beginner setting: opponents use simpler drafting and coordination, upgrade later, and face weaker minor bosses and final trials. Normal, Hard, and Hell each move down one step in opponent strength, giving players more time to learn cards and growth engines.
On all four difficulties in both schedules, first- and second-place arena finishers can challenge the final Boss. Unlocking the next difficulty still requires the arena champion to clear the final trial.
Selecting the Chosen One preserves the original AI strength and arena schedule. Turns 5 and 10 remain regular arena battles, without minor bosses or their exclusive rewards.
43 separate Diamond achievements bring the total to 86. Hero clears, the eight Bosses, card mechanics, skin milestones, and tutorial progress are tracked by schedule. Chosen One results do not fulfill Standard achievement requirements. Existing achievements and owned skins are preserved; skin ownership is shared, while each achievement requires a qualifying result in its own schedule.
Standard and Chosen One each keep their own three most recent Hell champion rosters and selected mirror. They no longer compete for storage slots, and mirrors can only fight opponents from the same schedule. Older mirrors remain in the Historical schedule. Second-place finishers can still challenge the Boss; automatic mirror collection continues to require a Hell arena championship.
Improved encounter selection, reward claims, save recovery, and final-trial result displays. Corrected related battle-based achievement tracking and refined Chinese and English text and layouts. Existing minion and hero card abilities retain their mechanics.
Thank you for your feedback. We hope these new choices make learning your first tribe engine more rewarding and give every cultivation run a little more variety.
