Sneaking in a couple fixes and features before tomorrow's weekly Live Patch!

This beta makes the hero Dossier a place you can work from: gear, repairs and Training Focus without leaving it and camp scenes show where you stand with a hero before you answer (and can be toggled/skipped). The rest is fixes, most of them for training, leagues and the new top bar.

FEATURES

Heroes & Dossier

• The Dossier’s Equipment card is now usable. Repair one piece or all of them, Auto-equip best, Strip all or swap any slot from storage without leaving the Dossier. A Gear link opens the Gear tab on that hero.

• The Dossier now shows the hero’s Training Focus and its charges on the Profile tab and in the header strip. You can pin a standing focus from there too.

Rapport

• The camp scene card now shows the hero’s Bond, their last three talks and the Astrologer’s read when an Astrologer is on staff. On narrower screens they sit in a “Between you” fold under the replies.

• Settings ▸ Alerts has a new Camp scenes row: Come to me or Wait in the week summary. Set to wait, the hero becomes a “wants a word” row of the week summary that opens the scene.

• A settled hero now comes to camp only when something is at stake.

Multiplayer

• Undying Roster now works in leagues. In a league founded with it on, a blow that would kill one of your heroes on a quest, raid or Tower floor becomes a critical injury.

Map & Combat

• In Crown Cup and Rival Challenge bouts, Light, Steady, Strong and Aegis Ward now wait until an enemy is within 2 hexes of the caster. A Knight now moves up with the line on the opening round instead of warding himself. Quests, raids and the Tower keep the 4-hex wait.

Multiplayer Leagues

• A league Guild Duel now needs five different heroes still on your roster. A challenge with fewer is not sent and a Duel Challenge Not Sent report says why.

Look & Feel

• The top bar now fits on one line on every desktop width, on both looks and in every language. The word and town chips show a glyph and the words left to spend, the utility icons sit in one tray and Appearance, Notepad and Edit Layout live under a More button with their hotkeys. NOTE: I'm still polishing this one, so let me know if you have any requests!

War Table

• Hovering or focusing a New quests line on the War Table’s week card now lights that region’s quests posted this week on the map.

Parties & Training

• The Grimoires page now shows a labeled chip for each grimoire a hero has used: Capricorn, Salvation, Endurance, Potential, Duality and Metamorphosis. Metamorphosis and spent Salvation wards are counted from this update on.

• Hero list rows on Training and Parties now keep level, age and rank in fixed columns, so a long class name no longer pushes them out of line.

• The Training tab header now reads “Training Grounds Tier N · Training Efficiency +X%”, since the bonus comes from more than the Training Grounds.

Markets & Trade

• The Sell contract picker now lists heroes on the Reserve bench, On the Block or tagged for sale first and shows their tags. Heroes in a training squad are now hidden with the other unavailable heroes.

BUG FIXES

Parties & Training

• A wounded hero now stops solo training, whether the wound came from a Crown Combat League bout, a Sparring Pit challenge match or anywhere else, even when a one-week wound heals that same week. Auto-training picks up again after they heal.

• A drill member who is wounded now leaves the party drill instead of the drill running on.

• The Training tab’s Auto-train idle button now respects the guild’s maximum program length on a hero’s first enrollment.

Custom Difficulty

• With No Party Restrictions on, formation slots now show Any role instead of a red Required badge. Patrol auto-quests and queued faction contracts no longer demand a Tank, Healer and damage dealer.

Heroes & Dossier

• Hero Dossier ranks now use the same potential-tier colors as the rest of the game, so a Rank C or D no longer changes color between the Dossier and the Parties roster.

Academy

• An Academy graduate lifted back to the potential tier they enrolled at now gets stat caps at that tier too, instead of keeping the lower tier’s caps.

Factions

• The court’s warning letter in the Front Desk reader now names the rival faction instead of showing “{{rival}}”.

Multiplayer

• In a league, AI rivals now keep contesting War Table regions after the first year. Other human guilds, a co-op partner included, no longer count as a region’s protector or answer your assault’s call for allies.

• In a league, AI guilds now restock their trade goods each week at the single-player rate and grow their stock when promoted. Guilds you trade with often no longer run dry for good.

• In a league, a Crown Cup placing’s renown bonus now applies from the first week of the new year.

• A league week that hits a server error now leaves the league exactly as it was, so the host’s retry no longer drops a duel or counts a Tower assault twice.

Crown Cup

• The live festival view now scrolls on short windows, so the bracket and an opened See their squad list are no longer cut off.

Language & Translation

• The expired-contract warning for a hero away on a mission now names the mission in your language instead of in English. English now reads “guild event” rather than “a event”.

• Party Focus’s labels are now translated in every supported language.
