Bunker Buster 1.0.5 – Battle Fixes & Effects Update
Commanders, 1.0.5 fixes the sudden defeats some of you ran into, puts your defences back on the battlefield, and makes every hit look and sound heavier. Every picture shows the same view in 1.0.4 (BEFORE) and 1.0.5 (AFTER). Thanks for the bug reports, keep them coming!
🛠 No More Surprise Defeats
- Fixed the false "ALL ROOMS DESTROYED" defeat. A cave-in check meant for digging could run during battle and treat already-dug rooms as collapsed, so one nearby hit could end the battle even though your rooms were fine. Cave-ins no longer run in battle, and rooms only fall to real damage.

🛡 Your Defences, On the Battlefield
- Burster slabs and other topsoil defences now appear in battle, over your bunker, at the right scale.

🎯 Aiming
- Shots land where you aim. Artillery, mortar, Hellstorm and drone strikes now come down on the point under your cursor instead of drifting short or wide.
- Shots burst at the surface. Shells explode on the ground or on the first slab they hit. They no longer pass through the surface.

- Enemy drone swarm fixed: enemy drones now fly a proper arc to their target, their small blasts no longer start fires, and their damage goes through the normal damage rules, so one swarm can't wreck your whole base.

📋 NEW: After-Action Report
- When you lose, a report now tells you exactly why: poison gas, command room destroyed, cave-in and so on, plus the last blow.
- It also shows the battle length, which enemy weapons hit you and how hard, the rooms you lost, crew lost by cause and the damage you dealt.
- Short tips tell you how to counter what beat you.

☣ Gas Attack Warning
- When enemy gas hits, you now get a GAS ATTACK banner and a log alert naming the room, a green gas cloud over each room hit, and a hissing sound. Gas damage is unchanged; you can just see it coming now.

💥 New Explosion Effects
- Layered fireballs and flashes, drifting smoke, bouncing debris, ground dust, scorch marks, and screen shake that scales with the weapon. Shells, rockets and drones leave smoke trails, and blasts have a new sound.
- Effects are capped so battles stay smooth, and the extras switch off in low-graphics mode.

📻 Radio Call-ins
- In Sandbox mode, the Spec Ops team and the B-2 strike are now free, as the sandbox promises ("no costs").
- In normal games Spec Ops costs 200 and the B-2 costs 280. You need a Radio Room, and after pressing the button you click the enemy side to aim.

✨ Small Things
- The game now has its own bunker icon.

Thanks for playing, and see you on the front line!
