Thanks for your feedback: you wanted to shape leagues, clubs and players yourselves without writing packages by hand. Now you can. Your saves stay unchanged.
World editor
- New under "Editor & mods" → "World editor", also at the career start without a running career: leagues, clubs and squads as tables. Name, city, arena and colours of every club, league names, player names, positions, nationality, birth year and shirt number.
- Draw a crest or use your own picture ("Only my image"). The picture goes into the package.
- Every entry is checked right at the cell. Undo and redo are included, and a draft is saved automatically on this computer.
- CSV exchange with Excel, Numbers and LibreOffice: one file for the clubs, one for the squads. The template contains the whole world (142 clubs, 2,840 squad places).
- The result is a world package (.emlc, format 4): up to 12 leagues and 142 clubs in one file. Save it, switch it on for new careers, keep it as a file or publish it to the Steam Workshop. Invented content only there: real names and crests are not allowed.
- A finished example world and the CSV templates come with the game (see the Workshop guide).
Strength classes
- Every club can get a strength class: Very weak, Weak, Standard, Strong or Very strong. It shifts the club's strength when a new career starts; afterwards the normal season rules apply.
- In the lighter simulated leagues the same class works a little weaker so that it matters about the same everywhere. Running careers do not change.
- The editor warns when a world loses its middle because of it (for example, when more than half of a league is "Very strong").
Important: achievements in changed worlds
- When a new career starts with changed strength classes, the save carries the mark "World changed". In such careers nine achievements do not count: Into the Play-offs, Champion, From the Dole to the Ice, Champion Abroad, Ice Cold All the Way, Ice Crack Champion, First display case, Silverware for the Kids and Forged at Home. All other achievements stay possible.
- Steam achievements already earned stay. The note appears in the editor, at the career start and in the achievement shelf.
Good to know
- World packages need game version 2.5.0 or newer; older versions of the game turn them down cleanly.
- Mods only change a new career. Money, contracts and the schedule stay with the game.
