Our most requested feature, Ranked, is now here! Read all about how it works and the design philosophy behind it in our Ranked Announcement!
Also, this patch contains Emotes! Click your portrait to send an emote to the opponent mid game and let them know how you really feel. Every account starts with 4 default emotes, and we'll be adding the ability to buy more with gems soon.
We're also pleased to announce that the Matched Court queue will now be available at all times.
Last but certainly not least, the Untamed Faction Update is here! 8 new cards have been released for the stout Untamed.
Added new graphics and feedback that make it more obvious which player has the Initiative.
A common feedback we've gotten is that it's too subtle who has the initiative in-game, something which can drastically effect how a turn plays out. We've upped the graphics to make it more obvious who has the Initiative, which can be disabled in the Settings if you prefer the older version.
The campaign now points out the Campaign-specific effects in the first scenario of the Campaign.
A common confusion of players playing the Campaign is that healing effects are reduced. We've added this so that players can understand better that the Eye of Insight is reducing their healing.
Custom and VS CPU games now give less dust drops. Campaign now gives as much dust as PvP games.
Games against CPU opponents have always given less dust at the end of the game, but the in-game dust drops weren't being affected, the in-game dust drops have now been aligned. We've also revised how much dust was being given in the campaign: we want Campaign and PvP to be equally viable ways to play the game and build a collection, so they now give the same amount of dust per minute.
Ingenuity now places the named card on top of your deck after it's shuffled, if you have an effect that lets you see the top card of your deck and shuffles it each turn, such as in the Campaign or Augur Orb.
Ingenuity wasn't working anymore in decks where the deck is shuffled each turn, such as the Campaign.
The Sticker Reward display now has instructions that explains how to rotate and scale stickers.
It's now possible to disable camera screen shake in the Settings.
Added some checks for profanity in usernames on creation.
Increased the full-refund window on rebalanced cards to 8 days, up from 7.
Fixed a bug where the Home Page wouldn't fully load in the positions of the popup items on the page, causing them to clip into each other when clicked.
The Uniter now reveals the Increasing Desperations' created.
Fixed an issue where the Sticker Reward screen would cause the Collection Page to become unresponsive.
After completing the campaign, the sticker display screen is now properly displayed.
The following fixes were applied after ranked launched and we addressed various issues that came up.
If a player buys too many Collector Booster Packs quickly, the rate of opening will get throttled before Playfab API limits cause the pack opening to break.
If you play a card, then Ingenuity, the previous card's "linked cards" will appear in the list.
This change is mostly for the interaction between Maisy Marigold and Ingenuity, allowing players to play Maisy and immediately Ingenuity for the next card in her chain.
Fixed an issue where the Defense Zone could rearrange mid-combat resolution.
Fixed an issue where the targeting UI thought Exalts-the-Mighty was never a legal target.
Fixed an issue where CPU opponents would always show as Inkling 1 Rank.
Fixed Ranked games not showing up in the Match History.
Fixed an issue where the rank icons in the leaderboard weren't being masked properly.
Fixed an issue where cards that "set" a health value wouldn't respect updated max health values from cards like Liberk and Lil Boo Boo.
Implemented several Ranked improvements. Servers should be considerably more stable now.
Fixed an issue when both players were unable to connect to a match, the Ranked server would give one player a loss, and another a win. The server now ensures both players have connected before it'll give ranked wins/losses. Additionally, these wins/losses were not communicated to clients, leading to situations where a player's run would be ended on the server, but the client would still let them queue up.
Fixed an issue where Glenn Magusbane (from Cursed Knight) was invulnerable to ability cards.
Fixed an issue where a 0 damage attack would destroy Monument to Peace.
