Patch 1.1.5 is out. It brings in a good part of this week's feedback: videos, Steam reviews, mails and Discord messages. Thank you all!
New
- Hangar ships can be fitted straight from the Ship tab: a row of tabs at the top (LB/RB on a gamepad) shows each ship with its slots, just like yours.
- Squadron orders are easier to discover: the chip shows the keys (1-4), the orders unfold at takeoff, ARIA explains them once and the Codex keeps a "Wing orders" card.
- Energy: when your shots keep stopping for lack of energy, ARIA suggests a better generator, and stations that sell one tell you so. Horizon always sells one, and generators are more common in Aquarii.
- New "Interface size" option (Options > Controls): enlarges everything, menus included. Set to 1.2 by default on Steam Deck. The smallest texts are also bigger for everyone.
- Buying a ship now shows a window explaining where your gear stayed, and warns you if it has no shield. The Swift now comes with a shield.
- Holdout missions: the perimeter is drawn as contour lines, with a warning at the edge and a countdown if you leave it.
Improvements
- During an escort, the Dock button asks for confirmation.
- Your squadron order is kept after a dock (it goes back to Cover me on a jump).
- On the mission board, a single click no longer takes the story mission opened on arrival.
- A downed wingman is reported more clearly, and the Crew tab shows it.
- Fleeing enemies jump to hyperspace instead of vanishing.
- Wingmen let go of asteroids when you fly on.
- Stings can no longer be elites.
- Long choices in the Threshold's transmissions no longer overlap.
- Russian: one line and three voice lines corrected.
- Faster save loading, and several optimizations on phones and Steam Deck.
Fixes
- Liner Evacuation: the shuttles no longer stay stuck at the station after their first trip, and with you at their side they keep flying even with Drones around.
- The zoom comes back to its level after a dock.
- A failed or abandoned mission left its enemies chasing you and skewed the next mission's counter.
- Auto-Repair could trigger on every killing blow while the interface was hidden (H key).
- A Stasis torpedo could make an already destroyed enemy keep firing.
- Holding a key at the end of the game could skip the whole ending cinematic.
- After a death, a pending message could silence the radio and delay some offers at stations.
- The tutorial's "Explore" step could never end.
- The picture no longer washes out during galaxy jumps.
- LB/RB can be rebound again in Options > Bindings.
- VIP Escort and Convoy missions count the crew's pay bonus.
- Success texts quote the right amount.
- Your own ship's turrets follow the difficulty and count as your shots (reserved ore, statistics).
- Enemies no longer react faster after a screen touch (Steam Deck).
- The gamepad no longer leaves confirmation windows.
- Various small fixes.
The update downloads automatically through Steam, and the demo gets the same fixes. Good hunting, pilots!
