PATCHNOTES SUMMARY:

  • A VILLAGE AT YOUR BASE. A whole street of shops right next to your base — every kind of town shop, even a gun store. They start boarded up: buy each one at its FOR SALE sign. Add a fuel island, an ATM and a car registration.
  • NEW CAR: Carfas Mike. A light sedan with a 1.6 four-cylinder, at the dealership and out in the world, spare parts included.
  • SANDBOX MODE. Your own playground: the endless road with no towns, no Grandpa and no zombies, every shop unlocked, 100 million in the bank and every tool in your bag.
  • EASIER ECU TOOL. READ now goes straight to EDIT and WRITE — tuning your car takes a few clicks, saving and loading files is optional.
  • Also: three new towns, a new engine key, a race wing for every car, stronger brakes and lots more below.

New

  • Village shops sell everything without category limits and never run out. The fuel island costs $6,000, the ATM $3,000.
  • Carfas Mike with bumpers, rims and wheels to buy.
  • Sandbox is its own mode with its own character and save — nothing in it touches your story or drift progress.
  • ECU tool: read the car, change the map, write it back — done.
  • TIMES SCARE, HELL-EIN, CONSTANTIN NOPE with their own look, shops and zombies; TOWN OF TASTE rebuilt with a main street and a fair. People now walk the streets.
  • Engine key: tap M = ignition on/off, hold M = start. Every car starts in Drive.
  • Race wing fits every car; sport and race brakes are much stronger.
  • Low four-post lift, engine swaps keep your add-on parts, diesel tuning now smokes, a flashlight, and Discord shows that you're playing.

Also in this update: one difficulty (Medium — old Easy/Hard saves switch over), shopkeepers in towns greet you on your first visit, key hints the first times you use doors, hood, trunk and engine, a warning when a passenger tries to drive, Aynur's new voice, a scrolling inventory, a toolbox in your starting inventory, 20 seconds of protection after waking up, less graphics memory on LOW settings — and lots of small fixes.

Good to know: the engine key changed — tap M for the ignition, hold M to start. Placed a four-post lift at your base before? Move it once in build mode, otherwise it floats a bit. Saves keep working; co-op needs the same version on every PC.
