HAMISH now has a new MODERN Mode.
This mode is designed for more casual players that enjoy the challenge but don't have time to be spanked so brutally.
There are no lives, and if you die you will respawn close to where you died. In MODERN mode enemies can drop gems. Items like the "Luck Ring" and the "Lucky Red Cap" will increase the drop rate.
The original mode still remains in the game and has been renamed to SADOCLASSICAL.
You can switch between these 2 modes when ever you like at any time in the Pause Menu with the only drawback being a level reset. Pause the game, go to the "Options" page and select "Change Difficulty".
If you have an existing save file and wish to continue playing in SADOCLASSICAL Mode, it will have defaulted to MODERN after this update and you will have to switch it back using the above method.
Hopefully this lets a wider range of people enjoy the entirety of HAMISH.
