Quest Fixes
Fixed an issue where multiple active quests targeting the same dungeon floor could interfere with one another and prevent one quest’s objectives from spawning.
Fixed The Wrong Mushroom spawning two mushrooms instead of one.
Fixed The Wrong Mushroom progression so the mushroom and enemy objectives can be completed in either order.
Fixed The Thing That Followed Home so the Brood Mother properly spawns after the eggs are destroyed.
Quest journal entries now show a notice when that specific quest is ready to be turned in.
Replaced internal quest enum/code terminology with proper player-facing quest progression text.
Inventory / Hotbar
Placing a skill over a hotbar slot containing potions no longer destroys the potion stack.
Potions are returned to the player’s inventory.
If the inventory is full, the skill placement is rejected instead.
Weapons
Fixed axe handedness so one-handed and two-handed axes properly respect their configured weapon data.
Weapon tooltips now clearly display whether a weapon is ONE-HANDED or TWO-HANDED.
Large Map Improvements
Improved the large overhead map so the generated dungeon better fits within the available UI space.
Added zoom controls to the large overhead map.
Added click/drag panning while zoomed in.
Fixed minimap/large-map switching so the minimap properly closes when the large map opens and returns when it closes.
Improved map contrast so explored rooms and paths are easier to read against the background.
Floor 5 Crash Safeguards
Added additional guard rails around the transition from Floor 4 to Floor 5, including dungeon and quest generation paths.
The exact root cause is still being investigated.
Players who still experience a crash to desktop when entering Floor 5 should send their Player.log to [email protected].
