Ladies and gentlemen, agents and bypassers of Uzovnica alike. The team is absolutely thrilled to announce our very first MAJOR UPDATE coming to A.A.U. Black Site.As you may have noticed in our previous devlog, which talks about a sneak peek of what's to come in September's update (this one right here), we have been shooting, switching, reloading, and executing so many changes that we hope it will provide all of you a fresh take of our world.ːpoliceswatː WE ARE SO BACK! ːluvːWatch on YouTubeWe have a pretty extensive list of changes that directly impact the way the game is played now. This includes changes to enemies, a new blood system, new locations that you can experience throughout Chapter 1, removal of certain sections that felt unclear or unfitting to the game (based on community feedback) and more!

Changes

ːpoliceswatː New Enemy AI (for all enemy types) and New Enemy Animations for A.A.U. AgentsDeep dive into the AI animations this time around! On top off that, the game will be introducing different enemy types to help with that variation when battling through the scenes.ːpoliceswatː New GPU Accelerated Blood System

A bloody good time feature that was also present in our recent Gamescom Demo. We had so many people liking this, and we're happy to finally bring it to our main build. Definitely let us know what you think about it!ːpoliceswatː New sounds (including new weapon sound system)
ːpoliceswatː Removed first sniper section
ːpoliceswatː Removed scarecrow section (for now)
ːpoliceswatː Removed the helicopter chase scene (for now)We're making some adjustments for some of the scenes that received A LOT of feedback from our players. The first sniper section from the game has been completely removed, while the scarecrow and helicopter chase will be marked as "temporarily" removed since we will be looking into how to make them more appealing in the long run.The reality is that we want the game to feel good when played, not only for its immersion but also for its actual gameplay and progression. ːpoliceswatː New environment added in the first chapter - Mines
ːpoliceswatː Many more scares in the minesWith the removal of some scenes, we have to compensate with the addition of new ones, of course. Spoilers-free comments: you'll be experiencing a couple new areas that none from the player base have experienced before. Additionally, we brought a few more spooky scares in these new mines to keep you on your toes. ːsteamsunnyː

ːpoliceswatː Added invert X and Y look

After further discussions, we're bringing the invert option for X/Y look. This should add a bit more accessibility for the controls.

ːpoliceswatː Added full Controller support

Probably one of our most (if not the most) requested feature. Everybody say hello to our controller support! This includes menu navigation.

ːpoliceswatː Last but not least, did somebody say assault rifle?

A new weapon enters the fray. Welcome home, M4A1.

Optimizations

- Movement keys can now be rebinded.
- The cursor will now display the accuracy of the weapon, taking into account the recoil.
- The player can no longer climb steep angles that are more than 66 degrees relative to the horizontal plane.
- Objects that do not have an effect on how the shadows look are excluded from casting the shadows (large boost for GPU-bound users).
- Better ground shader.
- Better Tesselation.
- Better-looking and more performant grass meshes.
