The 2.0.6 update is now available on the remake beta branch.
This update adds five AI difficulty levels for solo play, Steam friend invitations, in-game chat, and built-in problem reporting. It also improves online room transitions and handling when a connection ends.
Key changes
- In solo AI Treasure Hunt, you can choose from five difficulty levels: Introductory, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert.
- In the waiting room, you can see online Steam friends and invite them, or accept an invitation to join their waiting room.
- Press Enter during a game to start chatting. Gameplay shortcuts no longer activate while you are typing.
- You can open the problem reporter from the title screen, lobby, waiting room, and game screen to send the current screen and a description of the issue.
Improvements and bug fixes
- Improved the flow so players return to the lobby or title screen correctly when the room host leaves or the online connection ends.
- Added more detailed error messages in the lobby and waiting room.
- Fixed the previous game's sound effect state carrying over to the next 1v1 Treasure Hunt game.
- Fixed profile portraits not refreshing immediately after changing screens.
- Added an exit confirmation and improved the flow so saving finishes before the game closes.
- The current game version is now shown on the title screen.
- Fixed in-game background music not following the Music volume setting.
- Fixed title-screen background music so it also follows the Music volume setting.
To play the remake build, select the game in your Steam Library and go to Properties → Betas → remake.
