SCOPE 3 Update 1.0.8a🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶

Part 1: Early Release

This is only the first half of the 1.0.8 update.

Rather than hold everything back until every part of the update is finished, I’m releasing the completed systems early so users can start using them now while the second half continues development.

🔶 Part 1 focuses on control, configuration, and UI expansion.

Scope 3 now includes the expanded five-level zoom system with 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x zoom presets. The existing 1x, 2x, and 3x behavior has been preserved, while 0.5x and 4x extend the available range.

The Key Binds system has also been expanded to support the new zoom levels. Both 0.5x and 4x can use the same single-key and multi-key configuration system already available to the existing zoom levels.

Fire Zoom Key Mode has been expanded alongside it, allowing the new zoom levels to participate in the same key-driven zoom workflow.

A new OPTIONS menu has also been added to the top of the Scope 3 interface. Several secondary controls have been moved into this menu to clean up the main UI while keeping them immediately accessible.

The OPTIONS menu currently includes Auto PTT, Rail Companion, Key Binds, Multiple Monitor controls, and the new SOUND control.

A new UI sound-volume slider has been added as well. Scope 3 now remembers the selected interface volume between launches, and menu interactions have received additional sound feedback for opening, closing, selecting, and switching controls.

Another important change is the new neutral zoom state. When none of the five zoom presets are selected, Scope 3 no longer forces one of those presets. Nothing selected now means no preset selected.

This release also includes continued cleanup and expansion of the underlying settings and keybind systems so the new controls persist correctly between sessions.

1.0.8a is an early release of roughly half of the larger 1.0.8 update.

There is still more being developed for Part 2.

I wanted to get the completed portion into users’ hands instead of making everyone wait for the entire update to be finished.
