Our first update after the official launch — almost everything here came from your feedback on Discord and in reviews. Thank you!
New players
- Shorter tutorial: move, pass and shoot. Once that's done you choose: PLAY ONLINE NOW (drops you straight into a match, bots fill the empty slots) or keep going with advanced training.
- Skip stage: stuck on a stage? After a few seconds a skip button appears (F1 on PC).
- HOW TO PLAY: one page with every control — high and low shots, power pass, calling for the ball, slide tackle, camera, chat and voice — for those who'd rather read. It's on the tutorial welcome screen and under GUIDES in the menu.
XP and weekly drop
- XP from training matches is being credited again. It had stopped counting, so nobody was progressing on the daily goal or earning the weekly drop. Joining a match in progress counts too.
Online training
- Play without bots: from the in-match menu (ESC) the room can vote to remove the bots. With a majority of players in favor (and at least 4 in the room) they leave; if the room empties out, they come back on their own.
- The room list now shows how many players and how many bots are in each room.
- Bots no longer keep playing by themselves in empty rooms.
- Fixed: a bot spawning on top of another player on the ready screen.
- Fixed: from the second match on, the room waited the full 30 seconds even with everyone ready.
Ranked
- Fixed: a found match was cancelled whenever someone in the queue couldn't receive the accept prompt. The queue closes matches again.
- On mobile, the match-found prompt now always shows.
Chat and connection
- Fixed: messages that "vanished" without being sent. The game now reconnects on its own and tells you if a message couldn't be sent.
- Mobile: SEND button, visible typed text and private conversations all working.
- Mobile players now show as online to their friends.
Mobile (Android and iOS)
- Fixed: couldn't type the private room password.
- Several menu layout fixes.
Servers
- New server in North America.
