PHT Multiplayer 4.0
Closed Alpha — Steam Integration Patch
This patch continues development of the PHT Multiplayer 4.0 Closed Alpha and introduces deeper Steam integration across the Multiplayer Client and Official Alpha Server.
The primary focus of this update is improving Steam connectivity and addressing issues with Server Browser information, including player counts and ping.

🔧 STEAM INTEGRATION
- Integrated Steam functionality into the PHT Multiplayer Client.
- Integrated Steam functionality into the Official PHT Alpha Server.
- Updated client/server communication to work with Steam services.
- Improved the foundation for Steam-based multiplayer functionality.
- Added additional Steam integration needed for ongoing Closed Alpha testing.
🌐 SERVER BROWSER IMPROVEMENTS
- Updated the Server Browser to better communicate with Steam.
- Worked on the issue causing player counts to display incorrectly.
- Worked on the issue causing server ping to display incorrectly.
- Improved the way the client retrieves server information.
- Additional Server Browser improvements will continue throughout the Closed Alpha.

🧪 CLOSED ALPHA
- The Official PHT Public Server remains available for Closed Alpha testing.
- The dedicated server build is not being publicly released at this time.
- Steam Playtest remains Invite Only.
⚠️ KNOWN ISSUES
The following issues may still occur during the Closed Alpha:
- Server Login Latency — Connecting to a server may still take longer than expected.
- Player Count — Player counts may still occasionally display incorrectly.
- Ping — Ping values may still occasionally be inaccurate while Steam integration is being tested.
- Axe Crafting — Axe cannot currently be crafted at a crafting bench.
- Food & Water Decay — Food and water may decay abnormally.
- Mega Pack Purchase — Mega Pack cannot currently be purchased from NPCs.
- Grid Display Issues — Grids may not appear correctly in packs, crafting, and related interfaces.
