Version 2 is live! It adds a lot of new things to the game and it changes the progression a bit.
In this post I'll do a summary of the changes from the previous 1.4.4 main version to the current 2.2.1 that's going live.
There are now 3 aircraft in the base game.
The Ultralight is the plane you start the game with. It's light and maneuverable, but it can't go too fast and carry heavy loads.
The classic aircraft from the old versions is now the CB-12. It's a good all-rounder.
The Twin Bob is a powerful heavyweight that can gain high speed and carry heavy load. It's mass makes it a bit harder to control.
Custom aircraft can now be added to the game either locally or through Steam Workshop.
The modding system doesn't require any scripting.
There's now a shop and garage where aircraft, skins and sidegrades can be purchased and managed.
As usual, a game on free flight mode will have everything unlocked from the start.
Skins and Sidegrades are distributed at random to each checkpoint's shop.
There are now performance parts that can be installed or removed to alter the aircraft's performance.
New damage system.
Cross-platform cloud saves.
Single axis throttle and menu changes, making the game playable on HOTAS.
You can now spin in place when stopped on the ground.
The desert biome is always above water.
Added new achievements for the shop and garage.
Evergreen trees and houses have been remodeled.
Removed the 40 deliveries goal.
Removed Steam Achievements for the old upgrade system.
Thank you!
