This updates makes the offline displays look a lot prettier - they no longer look like missing textures. I also tuned a few things about landing, resource deposits and wind rivers.

Stay tuned for a bigger update before the weekend. Let’s just say you’ll soon find out just how cramped it really is inside the lander.

A New Look for Offline Displays

• When avionics fail, flight HUD instruments and cockpit monitors now show a signal-loss display instead of going blank.

Land Beyond the Pads

• Pads, terrain, and water now share safe touchdown limits: 5 m/s downward and 15 m/s horizontally before Landing Struts upgrades. Faster touchdowns cause damage; steep slopes can still destroy the ship.

• Landing indicators now appear below 50 m away from pads, and Landing Struts raise the safe descent speed on every landing surface.

Resources and Cargo

• Newly generated mineral deposits now all contain resources, with richness from 20% to 100%. Existing saved deposits stay as they are.

• The cargo map now also shows mineral survey areas, discovered deposits, and claim markers.

• Recovered cargo now sells automatically at any landing facility, including discovery sites and deployed drills.

• You can focus unavailable cargo with a keyboard or gamepad to inspect it and preview routes. Unavailable actions remain blocked.

Flight Conditions and Upgrades

• Main Thrust IV adds a fourth upgrade level for 65,000 credits, bringing total main thrust to +40%.

• Wind River pushes harder, while dust and electromagnetic storms leave more terrain visible.
