Update 0.5 - Procedural Levels, New Entities & Major Reworks

On Steam

UPDATE 0.5 IS HERE

Runners, Update 0.5 is finally here.

This is one of the biggest updates we have released for Backrooms Lost Runners so far. We have added entirely new systems and content while also reworking many existing parts of the game.

Procedural generation, new areas, new entities, new hazards, major progression and balance changes, a completely reworked sound detection system, improved voice chat, lighting changes, fixes, and much more.

We strongly recommend starting a new playthrough with Update 0.5.

Old save files are officially not supported and may cause broken events, incorrect progression, missing objects, or other issues due to the scale of the changes made to the game.

Starting with Update 0.5, future save compatibility will be supported.
