Smoother flying and bigger battles
- Ships now fly smoothly. No more hopping or stuttering.
- The server has been heavily optimized to handle far more pilots at once.
- New warp screen with a progress bar and a Cancel Warp button.
- If a server is full, you'll see a clear "Server is full, please wait a few minutes" message.

A bigger galaxy
- The zone is now five times larger, with more safe zones, black holes and asteroid fields.
- New space rifts you can warp through.
- Asteroid fields are now stationary scenery.

Economy and trading
- Every ship has its own cargo hold (press C).
- Earn credits and resources from combat, drones and mining.
- Trade Depot: Vendor, Galactic Bank with vault, Auction House with mailbox, and player-to-player trading.
- Dying keeps your ship. You lose your bounty and have a small chance to lose one item.

Missions and progression
- 335 missions across five tiers, including pirates, escorts, rescues and resource runs (Mission Center: J).
- Earn XP to level from 1 to 100, with ranks and titles (Pilot window: U).
- Daily login rewards and an event calendar at the Space Station.
- Orbital stations now circle every safe zone.

Supporter passes
- Optional 30 to 360 day Supporter passes:
- +10% XP and credits
- bonus daily rewards
- lower Auction House fees and more listings
- bounty insurance
- monthly cosmetics, name colour, paint and engine trails
- a Supporter star on your nameplate

Social
- Full in-game chat: zone, whispers, squad, emotes and more.
- The chat window can now be resized, and remembers its size.
- /played shows your total play time.

Settings and interface
- New themed Settings window with fully rebindable controls for keyboard, mouse and gamepad.
- New Lock at 60 FPS option (on by default).
- Optional performance overlay with a network graph.
- Redesigned main menu. The XP bar now sits under the actionbar, and the mission tracker has moved to the bottom-right.

Fixes
- Enemy shots no longer pass through your ship.
- Your gear is kept when you log out and back in.
- Relaunching after logging out no longer gets stuck on the warp screen.
- Many login and connection reliability fixes.
- More moderation tools for a safer community.
