Notice

Some veteran players who launched the game shortly after version 1.53 was first released may now encounter an issue where their save files appear to have disappeared without warning.

If this has happened to you, don't worry—your old saves have not been lost.

For certain reasons, your save path may have been automatically switched to "Steam Account Data", while the save-copying process was not triggered.

You can switch back to "Global Data" under Settings → General. After restarting the game, you should find that your old saves have returned.

However, please note:

To ensure save data remains safe when using Steam Cloud in a multi-account Steam environment, NavalArt's Steam Cloud system now only uploads and synchronizes saves stored under "Steam Account Data". Saves stored under "Global Data" will not be synchronized with Steam Cloud.

If you intend to use Steam Cloud, please do this while the game is running. manually copy your saves from "Global Data" to "Steam Account Data".

One more reminder:

Even Steam Cloud cannot guarantee the safety of your save data 100%.

We still strongly recommend that all players manually back up their saves regularly.

Your data is invaluable!
