FALLEN LEAN V43.2 — THE AWAITED UPDATE
The wait is over. Version 43.2 is one of Fallen Lean’s most ambitious updates yet—a sweeping upgrade focused on combat impact, cinematic presentation, world interaction, stability, and polish.
This release brings together dozens of improvements across the entire game. Existing systems have been carefully preserved while the overall experience has been refined to feel smoother, clearer, more responsive, and more atmospheric.
DEATH & REVIVAL — COMPLETELY REIMAGINED
• Enemy states are now preserved correctly throughout death, soul recovery, revival, and permanent death.
• Adaptive music reacts to nearby danger, low health, and death, with full FMOD and Unity Audio support.
• Enemy-triggered deaths now unfold through a cinematic sequence featuring camera zoom, repeated bite attacks, rapid slash effects, lighting flashes, and physical dismemberment.
• Enemies are kept at a safe distance during death and reconstruction and cannot interrupt the revival sequence.
• Every body part preserves its exact position, rotation, scale, sprite, material, and sorting order at the moment of death.
• Health and rage interfaces break apart with the body, then reconstruct and display their true current values during revival.
• A powerful Void reconstruction effect, vapor-like auras, and glowing strands pull every body part back into place in the correct hierarchy and sequence.
• The player returns to the true death location after a successful soul recovery, while movement, dash, shooting, and network inputs remain safely locked until revival is complete.
WEAPONS & COMBAT
• Weapons now drop naturally during final separation, with shooting, reloading, collision, gravity, and the ammo display handled correctly.
• Weapons return precisely to their original hand position, pivot, rotation, and tracking setup after revival.
• A compact World Space ammo display now follows each weapon, including reload animation and a completion shine.
• Weapon smoke remains visible after firing and during reloads, combining multiple muzzles into one scalable, optimized cloud.
• Firing recoil now affects the weapon, hand, head, feet, and body with smooth recovery and no accumulated offsets.
• Enemies react more naturally to damage through directional body-part knockback scaled to enemy size and attack type.
• Fast projectiles now use reliable continuous collision, including legacy transparent bullets and Trail-only projectiles.
• Bullet impacts, holes, and scalable craters now feature dark centers, ash, cracks, and gunpowder-blackened edges while respecting surface boundaries.
• Repeated crater creation has been optimized to reduce unnecessary texture, collider, color, and geometry rebuilding.
• Ice weapons can now freeze complete enemies through both body-part and main-body hits, with proper physics-constraint restoration afterward.
MOVEMENT, ENEMIES & WORLD INTERACTION
• Enemy legs preserve their final movement pose when stopping, eliminating in-place foot animation while retaining correct player-facing direction.
• Improved enemy collision prevents overlap, sticking, and pass-through behavior without sacrificing physical interaction.
• A smooth red danger indicator appears only when a visible enemy can genuinely reach the player, using Line of Sight checks to reject threats behind walls.
• Player and enemy ground shadows now respond dynamically to body width, foot movement, walking, jumping, platform edges, and slopes.
• Dirt and dust remain naturally anchored in World Space, curve with airborne movement, slow gradually, and stop tracking after landing.
• Head aiming now uses a stable pivot, smoothed mouse angle, and a subtle dead zone to eliminate jitter.
PRESENTATION, AUDIO & MENUS
• Cinematic menu transitions now include pulse and hover animation, echoed heartbeat audio, graceful element fading, and smooth scene or exit transitions.
• Exit and Alt+F4 now share one reliable flow, preventing menus or other systems from interrupting the closing sequence.
• Cursor interactions have been refined across UI controls, OnMouseDown objects, and clickable interfaces without white flashes or abrupt visual changes.
• Unintended entry and destruction sounds during startup, scene changes, and shutdown have been removed while intended music and effects remain intact.
• Death, revival, weapon, and menu effects are now routed consistently through the SFX audio group.
• Post-processing improvements deliver sharper imagery, stronger color and contrast, focused glow, reduced visual noise, and preserved vibrancy.
• CameraFilterPack blur and widescreen-circle effects are protected from the shader-disable option.
• Arabic and English menus now share one unified Quality Settings system connected directly to the game’s real settings.
• Frame locking is disabled by default and, when enabled, reliably targets 60 FPS without conflicting with the quality controller.
BUILT FOR A STRONGER FOUNDATION
V43.2 is more than a collection of fixes. It is a major foundation update designed to make every future addition more stable and every existing mechanic feel more deliberate.
Many bugs and issues have already been fixed, so make sure not to reintroduce them.
Thank you for playing Fallen Lean and for being part of its continued evolution. Your feedback continues to shape what comes next.
