The TV, The Vampire and The Ball ask for less XP and easier in Easy mode.
Arcade games cost less at full price: the coin cap is back down to 44 mystery globes.
HELIX - The Drone's missiles hit softer: 12 damage per beam (was 15), on every visit.
HELIX - golden bubbles' coin shots hurt the core less: 6 damage (was 10) - a leak still matters, but a swarm of coins no longer melts you.
HELIX - more picks for your favourites: Subzero can be taken 8 times (was 4), Nucleotide 7 times (was 4), and Mitochondria 3 times (was 2)
The Blade spins again. It was flying across the board frozen like a sticker - now it whirls while it moves, exactly like it does in the main game.
Spinning bosses are hit where you see them: The Camera's hitbox now turns with its body, so no more hits landing on the empty air beside it - and no more shots on its body that don't count.
The wave 4 board is much darker. The bright red dish was fighting with your bubbles and effects; it's a deep ember now, so everything on top pops.
The boss trophy's transcription is in DNA colours. The white-and-red multicast effect now runs in the core's own blue and purple, so it reads as your DNA transcribing instead of something foreign flying over it.
THE BALL fight feels right now: you get 10 seconds to kill it before it fires its attack and cuts your weapons - and when the cut lands, you see it: attack animation, sound, your weapon slots grey out and the DNA bridges between fused weapons freeze. The ball also spins in place and sits properly in its corner.
The Mutation cinematic is safe to watch: time slows much harder while your weapons fuse, so enemies can no longer sneak a hit on your core during the show.
Mutation cards read clearly now: "Mutate your weapons Gene Laser and Helix Bolt into Prism Lance" - so you know it transforms what you own.
Extra guns show white aim lines: with Replication or Multigun, only YOUR gun keeps the pink aim line - clones aim in white, so you always know which one is you.
A weapon at max level is never offered again - no more picking a card that does nothing.
The red button now destroys The Spine's mines too - they die quietly instead of exploding in your face.
The magnet and healing numbers stay a sensible size - a huge haul no longer covers your core with a giant number.
Power descriptions in the picker are bigger, easier to read, and sit clear of the choice squares.
Boss record cards no longer break on huge numbers - they read 1.15B, 3.52T and so on past a billion.
Arcade confetti only fires when you set a NEW RECORD - losing no longer looks like winning.
