Some of the recent problems may have come from the Windows 11 update KB5121003 (builds 26100.9168 and 26200.9168).
This update adds two system-level safeguards so that the fault does not reappear intermittently.
■ Drawer Position & Multi-Monitor
- Adjusted the recovery mechanism for drawers and widgets pushed off-screen by other software
- Added identification for multiple monitors of the same model, so drawers no longer end up on the wrong one
- Fixed drawers and widgets drifting out of position after a resolution change, a fullscreen app launch or a monitor rearrangement
- Fixed a drawer's position not being stored after dragging, causing it to return to its old spot after a restart or a display change
★ Positions that have already drifted cannot be restored automatically and need to be arranged once more
■ Drawer Title Bar
- Added a faded title bar while a drawer is auto-collapsed; moving the mouse over it restores the bar completely
- Added "Minimize title display" to each drawer's appearance settings, following on from the above
- Fixed drawers stacked above and below each other covering one another in certain situations
■ Drawer Contents
- Added a "System context menu" entry to the right-click menu of items in a drawer, which opens the native Windows menu
- Added full file name expansion when a file is selected
- Fixed file names being truncated or overflowing when scaled down or when the name is very long
- Fixed icons of some older programs occasionally displaying incorrectly
■ Drag & Reorder
- Added live reordering while dragging, so every icon's position is visible throughout the drag
- Added a stacked cursor with a count when dragging a multiple selection
■ Alert Sounds & Reminders
- Added custom alert sounds for Countdown, Alarm, Pomodoro Timer and Notes, including audio file, volume and repeat settings
- Added an automatic stop for alert sounds left unanswered, after five minutes at most
- Added double-clicking anywhere on a widget to stop its alert sound
- Added a breathing glow around the widget when time is up, together with an "Alert color" setting
- Added an optional reminder window when time is up, off by default
- Adjusted Notes alert sounds to be set per to-do item
- Fixed occasional alert sound faults in Countdown, Pomodoro Timer and Notes
■ Settings Panels
- Adjusted the layout of every settings panel and added section dividers
- Fixed the Clock Tools settings panel title not changing with the selected tool
- Fixed duplicated wording of related options in eight languages
■ Feature Changes
- Temporarily disabled drawer selection via the title bar, along with multi-selection, group dragging, group reorientation and group appearance changes; whether it returns depends on how it is used
■ Other
- Added a fade-out for the Clock Tools menu button while the widget is not the focus
- Added a pop-up notification after a version update
■ Finally
