####################### # Keep It Lit Changelog Version 0.8.0 - 8/20/26 ======================= New Features: ------------- - Map grid overlay (DM). Turn a square grid on over any map from the Edit tab. Size it automatically from the World Scaler - each cell is one-sixth of the scaler's length - or align it by hand to a grid already drawn on the map image. The grid setting is saved with the map. - Snap to grid. With the grid on, tokens snap into place when you move them: odd-sized tokens snap to the center of a square, even-sized tokens to the grid intersections. The Move ruler snaps to the same points and measures to the nearest foot. Snapping now works for players moving their own tokens in multiplayer, not just for the DM.

Improvements: ------------- - Light radius now means what it says. Whatever edge-sharpness you choose, a 30 ft torch is at half brightness right at 30 ft - changing the sharpness only reshapes the outer tail, it no longer moves the radius in or out. - New "Two Step" light falloff: full brightness out to the stated radius, half brightness from there out to twice the radius, then dark. Available for torches/lanterns and for static lights. - Night-vision falloff can be set per campaign and applies to every token that has night vision. - Clearer token editors. Double-clicking a library token opens the "Token Template Editor"; pressing E on a token on the map opens the "Token Instance Editor". Template changes now save automatically when you close the window - no Save button and no need to click out of a field first. You can also set a token's Max HP directly on the map, with Current and Max shown side by side (current can't go above max). - Measurement tool polish: a clearer font, a live distance readout at the cursor, color-coded segments, and an on-screen "M = Move" hint.

Bug Fixes: ---------- - Fixed a faint dashed line that could appear along the very edge of the map on players' screens. - Fixed the measurement distance label drifting off-center on some maps.
