In this patch, many quality-of-life improvements have been made, most of which were based on feedback from you guys! A huge thank you to the folks who took the time to let me know about the rough spots they encountered in the game. I'm very happy to see the in-game bug report function getting lots of use. Here's a look at some of the changes:
Added a ready check before action mini-games start, allowing players to start the mini-game by pressing the start button or the enter key
Improved the distance-to-volume scaling of the proximity alert in the posting mini-game
Adjusted the fanfiction mini-game difficulty and extended its duration
Fixed the appearance of known synergies in the obtained synergies box in the writing assistant
Added an explanation for an empty obtained synergies box in the writing assistant
Added skip song buttons to the music window
Revised the description of "Dwarf" to remove inappropriate language (Thank you to the person who pointed this out—I didn't realize how it would sound)
Fixed a bookmark display bug that occurred when redoing the tutorial
Revised the text in app information panels for improved clarity
Adjusted the probabilities of several random events
Added an explanation of the current win conditions that appears at the start of a life and after becoming a successful author
Added explanations for disabled progression and statistics buttons on the main menu
Revised the text formatting of money upgrade explanations in the Items Skill Tree, including colour-coding unlocked items by item type
Fixed a graphical error that caused novels to be displayed incorrectly in the published novels section of statistics window
Changed the return button in the lifetime statistics window to navigate back to the statistics overview window instead of the main menu hub
Added visible scrollbars to the tag shelves in the bookshelf window
