Bug Fixes
- Fixed the crash on entering the office or a neighborhood, and the seconds long stutter that went with it. Both came from the game compiling shaders mid frame the first time it drew something new. Shaders now compile up front while you are in the menu, quietly finish in the background, and stay loaded.
- Fixed a trash bag being able to spawn in a doorway and lock you in a room.
- Fixed house name labels printing on top of each other when several of your homes are in view.
- Fixed hiring at the office desk stamping HIRED and then quietly refusing. If your payroll is full or you already have a leasing agent, the button says so before you press it.
- Job listings now always offer different roles, starting with the one you have fewest of. No more eight postings without a single rent collector.
- Rent runs, evictions, inspections and case visits now bring you back to your room instead of back inside the laptop.
A note on the crash
Thank you to everyone who left error reporting on. The crash reports you sent were what let us pin this one down. If you still see a freeze or a crash after this update, a bug report from the pause menu is the fastest way to get it in front of us.
