This update focuses on fixing several important issues from v0.1.5, improving Steam integration, and adding Steam Achievements.
Steam Achievements have been added to Province: Suroste! There are now 12 achievements to unlock while exploring Suroste, fighting enemies, completing activities, and progressing through the Early Beta.
Fixed an issue where the ending would not trigger after reading Mark's diary. If you already reached the end in v0.1.5 and picked up Mark's diary, you do not need to start a new game. Simply update to v0.1.6, open Mark's diary from your inventory, and read it again. The ending will then trigger correctly.
Fixed Steam Overlay integration. The overlay now initializes and works correctly while playing Province: Suroste through Steam.
Added 12 Steam Achievements.
Fixed the final cutscene not triggering after reading Mark's diary.
Fixed issues with NPC dialogue memory and saved dialogue states.
Further polished and corrected the Early Beta map.
Adjusted the miniboss encounter with Mark's killer near the end of the Early Beta. He is now less powerful and better balanced.
Fixed Steam Overlay integration.
Added a message when an existing save file is detected but is incompatible with the current game version.
Save files from v0.1.5 are compatible with v0.1.6. You can continue your existing playthrough normally. Thank you for playing Province: Suroste and for reporting issues during Early Access!
