Hello everyone! This update improves how shields perform against enemy projectiles and charge attacks, and adds a new Damage to Player Multiplier World Rule. We’ve also fixed several issues involving multiplayer circuits, save stability, and item handling.

World Rules: Let the Host Set the Combat Pressure

  • The Damage to Player Multiplier can now be adjusted through multiple settings ranging from 50% to 150%.

  • In single-player, the player controls this setting. In multiplayer, it is controlled by the host and synchronized with other players.

  • Players looking for a more relaxed experience can lower the multiplier. Hosts who want a more intense world that requires greater cooperation can try 150%.

  • The multiplier is applied to the enemy’s base damage before Defense is calculated. Friendly fire, environmental damage, and certain special damage types are unaffected.

We hope to add more customization options in the future, allowing hosts to combine different rules and shape a world that better suits them and their friends.

We have not included a No Damage option in this update. We would like to develop it separately as part of a more complete Story Mode, allowing players to experience exploration and the story more smoothly. Some achievements would not be available in Story Mode, so we want to finish its rules and explanations before releasing it.

Shields Are More Reliable!

This update focuses on improving how shields intercept enemy projectiles and charge attacks.

  • Raised shields now block enemy projectiles from the front more reliably.

  • Fixed an issue where a charging Sand Wyvern could slide along the edge of a shield and still hit the player. Facing the attack with a raised shield will now stop it more reliably.

  • If a Sand Wyvern’s charge remains in contact with the shield, subsequent blocks will continue to consume Spirit.

  • Fixed an issue where the wrong shield could be used when two shields were equipped.

With these improvements, we hope shields will become a more dependable option against desert enemies—especially when defending against a Sand Wyvern’s projectiles and charges.

Circuit and Automation Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where electrical devices could have different states for different players in multiplayer, preventing Mining Motors, powered workstations, or electricity-controlled bombs from working correctly.

  • Fixed pulse signals entering the wrong circuit or failing to reach devices across connected regions.

  • Fixed certain devices failing to reconnect after being moved with a hammer.

  • Added clearer activation feedback to the Monitor Module, making successful signal transmission easier to confirm.

Circuits are a complex part of any sandbox game. This update addresses the cases we have identified so far, but we will continue monitoring the results. If devices remain unpowered, show inconsistent states, or transmit signals incorrectly, please let us know.

Full-Screen Display Improvements

  • Restored the Full Screen option on Windows and distinguished it from Borderless Full Screen.

  • Fixed an issue where Full Screen could fail to apply on some systems. If the system cannot enter Full Screen correctly, the game will automatically switch to Borderless Full Screen to prevent display issues.

Save and Item Safety

  • Improved the stability of world saves and inventory slots. Fixed cases where items could disappear when changing backpacks or unequipping gear under unusual conditions such as insufficient inventory space. Items that cannot be returned to the inventory will now drop near the player.

Other Fixes

  • Adjusted the hitboxes of various arrows for more accurate hit detection.

  • Further fixed an issue where certain enemies could continue targeting a player after they left the area in multiplayer.

  • If a player’s previously recorded landing position is no longer valid after falling, the game will now search for a nearby safe position.

  • Fixed transformed characters not appearing correctly on the bed while sleeping.

  • Fixed music sometimes no longer playing after cooking several batches of Cranberries.

  • Fixed the digging sound playing repeatedly when shovelling a 3×3 area.

  • Fixed certain permanent portals, stairs, and mechanisms being incorrectly selected, moved, or dismantled with a hammer.

  • Standardized the names of certain monsters, trophies, and Transformers so collectible names match their corresponding creatures.

  • The Carrogan Trophy can now be sold correctly for 1,500 Coins.

Currently in Development

  • Developing a suitable way to refresh Temple content so previously completed content can be experienced again.

  • Testing more World Rule options so hosts can build experiences better suited to themselves and their friends.

  • Separating player data from world data to improve multiplayer character progression, collection ownership, and data safety in the future.
