A sizeable post-launch update is now live for Crisis Cabinet, bringing new functionality alongside a number of important fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
4-Slot Save System — You can now manually save your campaign into one of four persistent save slots.
Load Game — A new Load Game option has been added to the main menu.
In-Game Saving — Save your current campaign directly while playing.
Persistent Saves — Manual saves remain available after closing and restarting the game.
Save Information — Save slots contain campaign information to help identify each game.
Overwrite Protection — You'll be warned before replacing an existing save.
Safer Save Loading — Improved handling of damaged or incompatible save data.
Fixed the post-war end-game bug that could cause problems with campaign progression after a war concluded.
Fixed an election bug affecting election progression and outcomes.
Fixed instances where polling and popularity calculations could display NaN%.
Added safer handling for missing or incomplete voter-bloc data.
Improved numerical safeguards to prevent invalid percentage values appearing in the UI.
Improved feedback when attempting cabinet actions without enough Political Capital.
Improved modal and popup close behaviour, including full-screen outcome and milestone screens.
Improved protection against UI errors caused by incomplete game-state data.
Additional stability and quality-of-life fixes across the game.
Save/load now restores the wider campaign state rather than only basic progress.
Scenario campaign progress is retained when saving and loading.
Cabinet, elections, economy, diplomacy, crises, war and government systems have been checked alongside the updated game state.
Continued improvements to overall campaign stability and progression.

Crisis Cabinet is being developed as a solo indie project, and this is the first of many updates planned throughout Early Access. There is a clear roadmap ahead, with the aim of steadily adding more depth, more meaningful choices and more ways for your government to succeed — or spectacularly fall apart.
