major update

Mineral Mining Simulator · build 24729519 · published

On SteamNotes only · this build shipped before we watched the app

Hi miners, 😄

Thank you very much for your continued support, reports, feedback, and suggestions.

This update expands the later stages of Mineral Mining Simulator with a new area to explore, more minerals to discover and process, and additional progression beyond the previous level limit.

Players can now access Cave Area 3, discover 10 new Industrial Minerals, progress up to Level 40, and use a new Delivery Train to support larger mining operations. We have also added a more convenient way to place multiple machines and racks from stacked boxes.

With this major expansion of the playable area and progression, we are also aware that performance may vary across different devices and factory layouts. We have included several performance improvements alongside this update, but we understand that further optimization may still be needed, especially as mining operations continue to grow in size and complexity.

We will continue reviewing performance reports and working on additional optimization and performance improvements through the upcoming weekly updates.

Here is what is available in the latest version.

Main Updates

1. Cave Area 3 is Now Accessible

A new mining area is now available for players who are ready to continue expanding their operation.

Cave Area 3 can be unlocked after reaching:

  • Level 20

  • $500,000

Once unlocked, the area provides access to many additional mining spots that become available gradually as you continue progressing.

Employees can also work within Cave Area 3, allowing larger mining operations to continue using employee automation as the facility expands.

2. 10 New Industrial Minerals

We added 10 new Industrial Minerals to discover and process:

  • Iron

  • Bauxite

  • Nickel

  • Graphite

  • Silicon

  • Feldspar

  • Kaolin

  • Fluorspar

  • Mica

  • Barite

These minerals introduce a new group of mining materials alongside the gemstones already available in the game.

Industrial Minerals continue through the production pipeline in a similar way to other mined materials. They can be mined, processed through the required machines, graded, and eventually packaged as graded mineral bars for sale.

Many new mining spots containing these materials will become available throughout the extended progression, with different Level requirements determining when they can be accessed.

3. Maximum Level Increased to 40

The maximum player Level has been increased from 20 to 40.

This extended progression supports the new mining content introduced in this update. As players continue leveling beyond 20, additional mining spots and mineral opportunities will gradually become available.

The Early Access Level limit will now be reached at Level 40.

4. New Delivery Train for Cave Area 3

A new Delivery Train Cave 3A is now available to support mining operations in Cave Area 3.

The train becomes available automatically when Cave Area 3 is unlocked and does not require an additional purchase.

Employees can immediately use the new train for supported delivery tasks.

We have also improved Delivery Train management:

  • Trains are now grouped more clearly based on their Cave Area

  • Train cards use clearer identification for each available train

  • Employees will prioritize a nearby available train when handling loading tasks

  • Newly unlocked trains can be used by employees without requiring the player to open their settings first

  • Train movement along the rail has been refined for smoother operation

These changes should make managing multiple delivery locations easier as the mining facility continues to expand.

5. Consecutive Machine and Rack Placement

Placing multiple identical machines or racks is now more convenient.

When carrying a stack of boxes containing the same machine or rack, placing one unit will immediately prepare the next unit for placement.

The next object will:

  • Keep the orientation of the previously placed object

  • Be ready to place without repeating the unpacking animation

  • Continue until the remaining stack is empty or placement is cancelled

The remaining box count will stay visible during the placement process.

Players can also right-click to cancel consecutive placement and return the remaining boxes to hand.

This should reduce repetitive steps when building longer production lines or placing several identical racks and machines.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue where returning to the Main Menu while a box-to-machine restock transfer was still in progress could cause errors. The active transfer will now stop more cleanly when leaving the game session.

Thank you again for your continued support, reports, and feedback.

With the addition of a new mining area, more minerals, and progression up to Level 40, there are now more opportunities to expand and develop larger mining operations.

We are also continuing to monitor performance as players build and expand into the new content. The improvements included in this update are part of our ongoing optimization work, and we will continue working on performance improvements in the upcoming updates based on testing results and player reports.

We are still reviewing everything you share and will continue prioritizing improvements and additional content based on feasibility and impact.

If you encounter any issues or unexpected behavior, please report them through the in-game report feature or through the Steam Discussions page so we can investigate further.

See you in the next update!
