Until now the bridge discarded the final seconds of a failed link. Coherence reached zero, the channel closed, and the Agency recovered a timestamp and nothing else. It no longer discards them.
When a link terminates, T-Link holds the projection open and records the terminus in full — the approach, the contact, and the interval after. The Operator's own point of view is not the record; the bridge resolves an external vantage and keeps it there. Each of the seven documented terminal events now carries its own recovered footage, its own timing, and its own illumination profile.
ANOM-01 // RED STATIC. Terminal event, recovered. Six of these correspond to the confirmed corridor threats: ANOM-01 Red Static, S-DRN-02 Stalker, EXT-03 The Mourner, EXT-04 The Gaoler, EXT-05 The Specter, and EXT-06 The Banshee. The seventh documents UPLINK collapse inside the Black Annex, where no external organism is present and the loss is the connection itself. Nothing in these recordings is staged. They are the same entities, the same corridors and the same failure, observed rather than reconstructed.
Earlier telemetry rendered discharge from a terminated pattern as uniform mass. Field review rejected this: the deposits were too regular to be read, and their colour was being inherited from the Operator's own suit checksum rather than from the source. Discharge now scatters according to the force that produced it and carries the signature of whatever was breached. Discharge distribution across a cell-block deck, post-terminus.
Transit corridors. The survey now resolves full-width transit runs through the lattice. Bulkhead assemblies and corner sections read the wider geometry and seal it completely; earlier revisions left a gap beside the frame.
Door coordinates. Stowed equipment was being recorded at coordinates occupying door thresholds — 16% of them. Those coordinates are now excluded from placement.
Bulkhead placement. Bulkheads could be logged in open floor with no wall to seat in, standing in the middle of a room. Corrected.
Deck return. Deck surfaces and the corrosion on them returned no light to the bridge and resolved as flat grey from above. Both now return light correctly.
An additional resolution tier is available to Operators willing to spend the bandwidth: one delivered element per column, the finest the lattice will encode before no character remains. It is disabled by default. The cost was measured before it was offered.
The training instance held its ANOM-01 specimen inert until the corresponding briefing began. The specimen is now instantiated when its lesson is, and behaves as the material describes. A cadet's terminus is recorded like any other. Training links were exempted from terminal-event capture on the grounds that a training floor could not terminate one. It can. The exemption is withdrawn.
Substantial revision has been made to the systems that observe the bridge rather than to the bridge itself: the projection stack and the lattice model are now maintained as separate authorities with an enforced boundary, and the unattended review apparatus was rebuilt to run the same protocol a bridged Operator runs. Operators will not encounter these directly. They are the reason the list above is as long as it is. Issued by the Containment Sciences Division.
