What a week it has been! Four days since launch and we have been getting some fantastic feedback and also some bug reports. Thank you everyone who has bought the game and been playing it. And an extra thanks to everyone who has left a review. They have been extra encouraging.
If you run into any problems while playing the game please submit a report in game and we will get right on it.
In this update we focus on the Steam Workshop integration. There is now a brand new item on the main menu that opens up our Steam workshop panel. Here you can see all of the community made levels you have subscribed to and play any of them at the touch of a button.
To find and subscribe to a level simply:
Go to Steam workshop either by clicking the link in the game or by navigating it on the Biletide Steam page.
Choose the level that you want to play and click subscribe.
Go back into the game and click refresh. The level should appear straight away in your list of subscribed levels.
Play it!
Here is a video on how to do it:
To celebrate the launch of Biletide we have made a special extra level that is now live on Steam Workshop for you to try. It is called Aqueduct and is a puzzle to stretch your knowledge of the game. You need to seal two emitters while only having access to one plasma turret, all the while the tide is building up like an egg timer that will eventually overflow your base. Good luck!
As well as these new features this update also includes quite a few bug fixes. Luckily there have been no major problems just various spelling mistakes as you would expect from small project like this and also the pollution achievement was not working correctly.
Bug fixes:
Pollution achievement now correctly fires
Various spelling mistakes
Objective numbers are now formatted with commas.
It has been a very emotional and exciting week for us here at Formic Games. Thank you to everyone who has bought and played the game.
