🔧 Update v0.2.31 — Leader Portraits System, Name Pool Expansion & Conquest Alignments

Hello Commanders! This update introduces our brand-new political leader portrait system. It also brings doubled name pools for cabinet candidates and crucial conquest synchronization alignments.

🖼️ New Feature: Political Leader Portraits

  • Unique Character Visuals: We have implemented a brand-new, comprehensive leader portrait library! Head of states and cabinet ministers now feature high-quality portraits representing their country of origin and specific cultural regions.

  • Full-Size Hover Previews: Hovering your cursor over a leader's portrait displays a detailed, native-resolution tooltip preview (up to 360px tall) that follows your cursor so you can inspect character details without cluttering your HUD.

  • Cultural Attire Variety: Female leader portraits in conservative regions (including Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Yemen) feature culturally appropriate modest attire and head coverings (hijab and chador) with fully visible facial features.

  • Turkish/Anatolian Visual Tuning: Configured dedicated Mediterranean and European complexes for Turkish political figures to accurately reflect regional complexions.

👥 New Feature: Doubled Name Pools & Subregions

  • Cabinet Name Expansion: Doubled the generated name pool for cabinet ministers, prime ministers, and state candidates from 708 to 1,416 names, preventing repeat names in long campaigns.

  • Authentic Local Cabinet Members: Remapped previously unmapped territories to proper world subregions. Geographically isolated countries will now generate state leaders and candidates with culturally authentic local names.

⚔️ Conquest & Resource Alignments

  • Wrap-Around Map Conquest Sync: Fixed a bug where taking control of a province on the wrap-around world map failed to update its duplicate map chunk entities. Territorial transfers, military occupations, resistance strength, and localized unrest are now synchronized across all duplicates.

  • Capital Resource Deposits: Added Sudanese, Spanish, Taiwanese, Kenyan, Rwandan, Grenadian, and Spanish capital provinces (including Madrid, Taipei, Khartoum, Kigali, and Nairobi) to the latent resource list, allowing players to construct resource extraction buildings in these capitals.

⚡ Game Performance

  • Asset Data Standardization: Re-serialized global font files and UI materials to decrease memory overhead during map zooms, maintaining stable performance on lower-spec and low-RAM devices.
