The new MOON map for Chained Wheels is now available! This update takes players on a brand-new adventure across the challenging surface of the Moon. Dodge falling meteors, solve new teamwork-based puzzles, and overcome a variety of unique obstacles along the way.
MOON isn't just a new visual theme—it also introduces fresh mechanics, surprises, and coordination-focused sections that take the Chained Wheels experience to the next level. A new danger awaits around every turn, and every section brings a new challenge to conquer.
We completely redesigned the main menu background and replaced it with a new 3D scene.
We created a new leaderboard screen that can display multiple maps more effectively.
We added an estimated playtime indicator to the map selection screen, allowing players to see how long it may take to complete each map.
We optimized visual effects, resulting in an average performance gain of approximately +10 FPS in our tests.
We fixed crashes affecting some older-generation AMD graphics cards.
We added a Split Screen option for Local Co-op.
The original single-camera Local Co-op mode remains fully supported, including on the new map.
We resolved Steam Input compatibility issues that caused problems with certain gamepad models.
We fixed controller input and compatibility issues that could occur when Steam Input was enabled.
We made various stability and performance improvements.
