We were informed that the native Linux build had compatibility issues on some Linux distributions. Thanks, MemLeakD, for the heads-up — our error-reporting tooling missed that one completely, because the game was dying before it could even give us a hint :D
That's now resolved. If you still run into issues on Linux, try reinstalling — and if that doesn't help, please let us know.
Along with that urgent fix, we pushed some smaller fixes and improvements based on feedback and coverage:
The "Ownership could not be verified" jump-scare dialog should no longer appear unless there's a real ownership problem. We've made the Steam API pipeline more robust, so short-term connection hiccups and delayed initialization no longer throw us off the trail.
Fixed the game icon on Linux.
Players are now given a set of faster (Gold-tier) tools during the tutorials, so they move along more quickly.
