Hello.
Here are the 1.25 patch notes.
Fixed an issue in Moneyball Mode where, after a medical check, the perk description and stat check panel could run off the screen and become difficult to read.
Fixed an issue where the Defense stat mainly affected fielding range and error rate, but had less influence on batted-ball outcomes than intended by design.
From now on, high-defense outfielders can additionally turn borderline home runs or extra-base hits into outs.
Conversely, ordinary singles and doubles now have a low chance to become doubles or triples depending on defense and fielding range.
Infielder defense now has a little more influence over handling ground balls and allowing singles. (ex: strong defensive infielders are more likely to turn borderline batted balls into groundouts)
Adjusted NPC batted-ball directions, which had been somewhat standardized, to be more fluid.
Polished some translations.
Added the previously hidden fielding range stat to batter stats.
This is a display-only stat, not an independent stat. It is calculated by combining baserunning, defense, position fit, and discipline at different ratios.
That is all.
In simulation test results, scoring and hits per game decreased slightly overall.
I also confirmed more extra-base hits from low defense in lower tiers and more extra-base-hit suppression from strong fielding in higher tiers.
The change was around 2~4%.
The game becoming more hitter-friendly in later leagues was intended by design, but extra-base hits were being suppressed a bit too much in lower leagues, and batting strength in higher leagues was a bit too high.
This patch should ease those points somewhat.
If there are any problems or suggestions, please post on the forum at any time. I will check and reply.
Thank you to everyone who plays.
