The island of Helos is here. This is the fourth of six planned islands and the first major content drop since Early Access launch. If you've been waiting for more world to explore — this is it.
Helos brings a new tier of equipment (iron), more skills related to Alchemy and Bug Catching, and a fresh chunk of handcrafted world to explore and tear apart. We've also used this update to address a massive pile of fixes and improvements across the board, from local co-op stability to building, combat, and inventory.
Speaking of combat - we're working on more polish there as well. Dodging now interrupts your primary attack, and you can move while aiming certain items. This is the beginning of a larger combat pass, not the end.
A few words on what's ahead: hard mode, more combat polishing, the option to stop nature from replenishing (for completionists), and Steam Deck UI updates. These are some of the themes in the updates following Helos.
And finally, we'll be doing a small stream about the Helos update tomorrow at 12:00 GMT / 14:00 EET. Join us for a chat!
