🛠️ v0.1.70: Modding Expansion & Alliance Integrity

This milestone update introduces a massive expansion to our Modding Framework, significant refinements to Alliance Law, and critical Logistics fixes.Community & Modding:

  • Extended Mod Support: We've overhauled the modding architecture to support custom config overrides, marker overrides, and specialized asset loading.

  • Mods Menu: Improved the mod selection interface and added smoother transitions when loading active mods into the global simulation.

  • Local Mods: Added better handling for local development folders and ignored temporary files to ensure a cleaner modding experience.

International Law & NATO:

  • NATO Expulsion Logic: Alliances now have teeth. If you launch an unprovoked attack against a fellow NATO member, you will be immediately expelled from the alliance, losing all mutual defense protections.

  • Alliance Integrity: The AI will now more aggressively monitor intra-alliance tensions and react to aggressive posturing within a coalition.

Economic & Logistic Mastery:

  • Auto-Sell Stockpiles: Added a new economic setting to automatically liquidate resource stockpiles when they exceed a certain threshold, helping to maintain national liquidity.

  • Logistics Stability: Resolved a critical crash in the ArmySeaTransportSystem and fixed a recurring issue where fleets could occasionally disappear during long-distance transit.

  • Economy Balance: Another comprehensive balancing pass on industrial output and maintenance costs to align with the latest resource updates.

Technical & Localization:

  • Save Integrity: Fixed a save versioning error that could cause corruption in specific late-game scenarios.

  • Global Polish: A massive round of localization updates across all supported languages, fixing multiple grammatical and formatting errors.

  • Tooltip Logic: Resolved an issue where suppressed tooltips could still interfere with UI interaction in specific sub-menus.
