MALPRAXIS™ · build 22628486 · published
Thank you for the continued reports and feedback.
This update delivers a full overhaul of onboarding, reintroduces a complex live patient operation, and resolves a large number of systemic, UI, audio and progression issues.
We have also updated the store page and supporting materials to better reflect what MALPRAXIS™ is right now, so new and returning players can more clearly understand what they will be playing.
A new story-driven operation has been added, representing a significant step forward in complexity, structure and system integration within MALPRAXIS™.
Some of you may recognise elements of this procedure from the original trailer.
It was planned for launch, but we made the call to focus on autopsy and diagnostic systems so MALPRAXIS could ship as a complete experience, rather than hinging everything on a single complex operation.
As of today, all that work is now back in.
This high-risk emergency extrication places you in control of a continuous procedure where diagnosis, intervention and surgical decision-making must all be performed under pressure.
It features:
Multi-stage surgical flow (armour removal, diagnosis, amputation, implantation)
New vitals interactions and drug balancing
Expanded malpractice handling and failure conditions
Full integration with Codex, query flow and narrative systems
Completed overhaul of the third tutorial in Shift 0 (Training Dummy Operation)
Added voice acted tutorial guidance (Internal Systems Overseer) to reduce reliance on reading
Tooltip dialogue will stop when the tooltip is dismissed
Reworked tutorial pacing, prompts and flow to better introduce core systems
