Shards of the Realm · build 22398819 · published
Important
Existing saves remain backward compatible.
Due to changes in character portrait generation, previously generated portraits may appear darker than intended.
To fix this, simply open each character’s inventory to regenerate their portrait.
Armor Infusions
Added a new system that allows you to infuse armor with special items to grant random bonuses.
Introduced 6 new infusion items, each capable of enhancing armor with unique effects.
These items can be obtained from battles, dungeons, and town raids.
Combat Improvements
Hit prediction now displays the chance to hit not only the main target, but all potentially affected targets.
This makes it easier to evaluate risks, especially when dealing with possible friendly fire.
Ring Infusions
Added non-class-specific skills as part of ring infusions.
These skills inherit all bonuses from their corresponding main skills, but can be used by any character wearing the ring without requiring multiclassing.
Such skills consume MP and either have slightly increased base damage or apply additional debuffs.
Visual Improvements
Added ring indicators under characters to improve visibility and clarity during battles.
Balance & Progression
Reduced infusion time for both the new armor infusions and existing weapon essences.
Removed essence research from the game — it is no longer required to perform infusions.
New Enemies
Added a powerful armored demon to improve endgame challenge.
Comes in 4 variants: Mage, Archer, Healer, and Tank.
These enemies are tied to the world level and will begin to appear a couple of in-game weeks after the required level is reached, once existing enemy parties are refreshed.
UI & Tutorials
Updated tutorials to reflect new mechanics and changes.
Redesigned parts of the UI and made various visual improvements.
Quality of Life
Numerous quality-of-life improvements across the game.
