Thank you very much for playing Sonic Rumble. On March 16, 2026, Sonic Rumble received a major update with various new features and adjustments to make the game more casual, easier to enjoy, and accessible to an even wider audience.
The highlight of this update is the addition of the brand-new mode "Party Rumble," and with it, the game title has evolved into Sonic Rumble Party!
Rest assured that the fun you’ve known so far remains intact—popular modes such as Ring Survival and (subject to further adjustments) Squad Mode will continue to be available.

A new party mode designed for easy, upbeat, and casual fun!
Enjoy a one-round experience filled with various activities such as high-speed skateboard racing, collecting as many Chao as you can, striking poses on the podium, and more. With the addition of Party Rumble, we have also adjusted the difficulty and controls of certain stages and added more than 30 new stages!

We’ve added Starter Missions, geared toward new players!
As you complete missions, you can earn skins, buddies, rings, and other rewards, as well as unlock new features that give you more options for play, so be sure to work your way through them!
Each round you play fills your meter more, and when it’s full, you’ll have a chance to opena Toy Capsule and get a reward!
You’ll also have a chance to upgrade the Toy Capsule’s rarity when you open it.
If the upgrade succeeds, you’ll have a chance to get especially fantastic prizes!
Prizes include Skin Fragments, Season Score Badges, and Puzzle Pieces that come witha 100 Red Star Ring reward once you collect all the pieces to complete a puzzle!
We’ve adjusted the UI to make it easier to see how many Skin Fragments you have.
You can see your Skin Fragments under This Season’s Skin Fragments, in the top right corner on theHome Screen. You can also convert Fragments to skins from the same spot.
We’ve also added a tab for fragments on the Customize screen.
You can check on your current fragments or convert them to skins from there as well.
Increased Red Star Ring Rewards
We’ve added Red Star Rings to free Season Passes.
We’ve also swapped some Stage Challenge Rewards to Red Star Rings.
Puzzles added (every season) with Red Star Rings as rewards.
PC Version UI Adjustments
We’ve added more options to the Settings menu on PC to allow for a wider range of optimization.
Score Rank Adjustments
We’ve changed the number of grades in Score Ranks.
Adjusted reward amounts for Crew Score Missions & Clash of the Crews
We’ve increased the rewards for Crew Score Missions and Clash of the Crews.
Co-op Battles and Squad Mode Score Increase
The score earned for these modes will gain a multiplier based on your performance, the type of boss, and other factors.
Retiring some Modes and Features
Special Rumble, Quick Rumble, Amy's Request, and Dr. Eggman's Challenge have been removed.
Changes to Score Booster Usage
Score Boosters will now be used each round, rather than each match (3 rounds).
If you had any Score Boosters before the update, their quantity will be tripled.
Implemented Squad Boosters
We’ve implemented a new Squad Booster, which boosts the score of your entire Squad.
Implemented Super Attack Items
We’ve implemented a new Super Attack Item, which can be brought into Co-op Battles and used to deal heavy damage to a boss.
Updates to Crews
Once per day, by sending a message or Sticker to your Crew, you can earn Rings.
PC version players will now also be able to join Treasure Hunts.
You can also now send friend requests directly from the Crew screen.
